About the Role Due to significant growth and development, we are looking to expand our team of Machine Operators. We are a leading manufacturer of plastic pipe for agriculture, construction and utilities; and have multiple plants across New Zealand. Our Ashburton plant is looking for Operators for our night shift. The night shift operates 11:00PM - 07:00AM Monday - Friday. Please note that you must be able to commit to these hours moving forward. Role Requirements: * Setting up, monitoring & operating plastic pipe manufacturing machines * Conducting quality assurance processes to ensure product standards * Carry out die changes once production requirements have been met for each product * Monitor configurations and products to ensure machines are fully utilised * Completing production paperwork and records About the Company We are a global leader in the manufacturing and distribution of advanced plastic piping systems. Personal Attributes: * Mechanical aptitude to form a basic understanding of the machines * Good communication and able to work in a multicultural team environment * Experience in a manufacturing role would be preferable * Thorough with good attention to detail * Self-motivated and proactive * Interested in learning new things * Physically able (as there will be some lifting required) * Keen attitude to learn and get involved * Able to pass a pre-employment drug test * Forklift license would be preferred, however this is not essential About the Company We are a global leader in the manufacturing and distribution of advanced plastic piping systems.
