Summary: This role involves operating a forklift to manage product movement within the yard and for truck loading, requiring resilience in various weather conditions. Highlights: 1. Requires resilience for all-weather operations We have a new vacancy for an experienced and certified forklift operator at the Palmerston North factory. The position is on rotating shifts: - Roster: Mon-Fri – one week of days, 5:30 am – 3:30 pm then one week of nights, 3:30 pm – 1:30 am 11-hour shifts. Pay rate is $28 per hour. Optional weekend work is occasionally available at double time rate! Duties will include: - Picking up fresh product and moving it to the designated area in the yard - Picking orders for Trucks - Loading Product onto trucks The job is not for the frail as operations continue in all weathers but high winds Note: you must be resident in NZ and have open work rights.
