We’re a growing fabricating engineering business, specialising in the full spectrum of fabrication discipline, and are now seeking positions in the following - *A motivated trades assistant - skilled labourer to join our dynamic team in Dunedin. The successful applicant will have a can-do attitude, with experience in the construction industry. To succeed, you will need to bring with you a willingness to learn, be reliable and physically fit. Key Skills & Experience Required: *Previous trades assistance or labouring experience *Punctual and motivated *Ability to work unsupervised *A team player with a great attitude *Full New Zealand driver’s license *Must be able to drive a manual vehicle In return, we will offer the successful candidates a rewarding & challenging work environment. Ongoing training and development, with an opportunity for an apprenticeship! Working 10-hour days on Monday to Thursday, the successful applicant can enjoy Friday’s off. With optional overtime work on the Friday (paid at time & half rate) as required to meet customer deadlines. This is a great opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from architectural metal work, General engineering, stainless steel balustrading and hand-rails, sink benches, to non-ferrous metalwork with aluminium, copper and brass, to earthquake strengthening and general structural steel.
