The Role We are looking for a skilled Leading Hand, who is experienced in all components of civil construction (roading, footpaths and streetscape) and confident in water reticulation. What You’ll Be Doing - Getting stuck in - working with three waters and laying asphalt or placing concrete - Leading your crew, setting daily goals and completing paperwork (online). - Working closely with Project Managers and Engineers to deliver project outcomes. - Provide clear communication and leadership to the team. - Ensuring health and safety standards are met and actively promoting a safe work culture. What We’re Looking For - Physically fit with civil construction industry experience as a leading hand. - Minimum 3 years Civil Infrastructure NZ work experience. - Level 3 Certificate in Civil Infrastructure Works. - Full Class 2 drivers licence - RTW is preferred. - An excellent work attitude - we’re looking for positive, hardworking and reliable people to join our collaborative teams. - Strong communication skills, both internally and externally. - Collaborative and Solutions-Focused Attitude – Someone who adds value and takes ownership of projects.
