These are temporary assignments with the potential for permanent employment for the right candidate. Due to the nature of the work, you will be required to work both indoors and outdoors. These roles are physically demanding and involve being on your feet for extended periods. Duties may include: * Warehousing: Container devanning, moving and stacking stock in bulk locations, and order picking * Construction: Site clean-up, moving materials, and assisting tradespeople * Civil: Barrowing, shovelling, and spotting machinery * Engineering: Trade assistant duties, fabrication, and use of hand and power tools * Events: Installing and dismantling marquee tents, fencing, and flooring * Heavy lifting and general labouring duties as required To be considered for these roles, you must: * Be flexible and available to work a variety of shifts * Be physically fit and able to comfortably lift up to 25kg * Have good communication skills * Be reliable and punctual Benefits include: * All PPE supplied by OneStaff  * The opportunity to build a career with an established company * Short- or long-term assignments depending on your availability We have multiple job sites across Christchurch, from Hillsborough to Rolleston (and everywhere in between). Shift times vary, with starts as early as 7:00am and finishes up to 5:00pm (Monday to Friday, with some weekend work available). Pay rates range from $24-$26 per hour + 8% holiday pay, depending on experience. Full PPE is provided and wages are paid weekly. All availability will be considered.
