We are seeking an experienced and reliable machine operator/civil labourer to work on a variety of projects. What you'll be doing: * Operate a range of civil construction machinery including excavators, vibratory hammers, pumps, and trucks * Assist in all phases of site work, particularly drainage, trenching, and pipeline works * Confident using hand tools and able to run a string line * Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance to ensure machinery and site operations run efficiently * Complete and maintain detailed QA records daily using a tablet and reporting within Excel What we need from you: * Hold a minimum Class 1 licence (Class 2, 4 or 5, and tipper truck operation experience advantageous) * Full Class 1 NZ Driver's Licence * Class 2 or 4 experience is preferred, but not essential * WTR endorsements * Ability to work independently and think on your feet * Demonstrates reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to health and safety best practices * Proven experience operating excavators and heavy machinery in civil works is a plus We offer: * Competitive hourly rate (based on experience ranging between $25 - $35) * Ongoing training and support to grow your skill set * Great team culture where your work is appreciated * Long-term opportunities for the right individual If this sounds like an opportunity you are interested in and you have the relevant experience working on civil sites, touch base with Cory Vickers from ALH today on 02108154577 or apply online today!
