Training and upskilling available for the right person The Role We're looking for reliable General Labourers to join a busy civil construction team working across the Manawatu. If you're hardworking, safety-focused, and keen to build your skills, this is a great opportunity to step into ongoing civil work. Key Responsibilities * Carry out general labouring tasks: digging, lifting, site clean-up, and using hand tools * Assist with daily site set-ups, pack-downs, and supporting the wider crew * Drive company vehicles as required (Class 1 essential) * Follow all Health & Safety protocols and contribute to a safe worksite What We Offer * Local work around the region - home every night * Weekly pay + full PPE provided * Strong team culture with opportunities for ongoing or permanent work * Training and upskilling available for the right person Hours * Monday to Friday, early starts (approx. 6-6:30am) * 8-10 hour days, weather and workload dependent * Occasional Saturday half-days during peak periods Requirements * Full Class 1 licence * Physically fit and keen to get stuck in * Able to pass a drug test and Ministry of Justice check * A good attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability About the Company Our client has been a trusted name in the civil construction industry for over 60 years, known for their strong community values, supportive team culture, and commitment to high-quality work across the Manawatu.
