Opportunity to gain licences and grow your skills We’re looking for a solid, reliable Concrete Labourer to join a well-established, family-owned business that has been delivering quality workmanship across Canterbury for more than 24 years. This isn’t just driveway work — our projects are varied, hands-on, and spread across rural, commercial, agricultural, and civil sites throughout North Canterbury and Christchurch. One day you could be working on dairy farm upgrades or shed construction, the next on culvert units, precast concrete, drainage projects, or large-scale in situ pours. We’re a small, hardworking team with a strong reputation built on honesty, high standards, and repeat clients — and we’re looking for the right person to become part of it, for the long term. What’s on offer: • Stable, long-term work with plenty happening • Huge variety of projects and sites • Supportive family-owned business that understands work/life balance • Opportunity to gain licences and grow your skills (WTR, Class 2/4 etc.) • Learn from an experienced operator with 30+ years in the industry • Weekly pay • Good gear, vehicles, PPE, and equipment supplied • Real opportunity to grow with the business for the right person What we’re looking for: • Reliable and punctual — ready to start before the clock says go • Strong work ethic and good attitude • Honest, trustworthy, and able to communicate well • Can follow instructions and work safely unsupervised when needed • Someone who takes pride in doing things properly • Full Class 1 license required • Must be able to pass drug and alcohol testing • WTR, machinery experience, or Class 2/ 4 are a bonus — but not essential The role: • Based near Rangiora • Typically, 40–50 hours per week • 7am starts generally, but flexibility is important in the concrete game • Some early starts and occasional later finishes depending on pours and site requirements • Mix of team-based and independent work across multiple sites This team values good people, good communication, and hard work.
