These are hands-on site-based roles suited to both those looking to build their career in civil construction and experienced labourers wanting consistent work with strong teams. What's on offer * $25-$28/hr for entry-level Civil Labourers * $28-$33/hr for Skilled Civil Labourers * Consistent hours with established civil contractors * Variety of work across roading, drainage, subdivisions, and infrastructure projects * Opportunity to develop skills and progress into higher-level roles * Strong team environments with experienced crews Key responsibilities Civil Labourers: * Supporting civil crews across active worksites * Assisting with trenching, pipe laying, concreting, and general groundworks * Preparing sites and maintaining safe work areas * Using hand tools and assisting operators where required * Following instructions and working effectively as part of a team Skilled Civil Labourers: * Reading plans and working from levels where required * Supporting drainage, earthworks, and civil construction activities * Confidently using tools and equipment * Assisting with basic machine operation (where experienced) * Taking on additional responsibility and supporting site leadership What we're looking for * Previous civil or construction site experience preferred * Reliable, hardworking attitude and willingness to learn * Ability to work well within a team environment * WTR endorsement and/or Class 2 licence is an advantage * Skilled labourers with experience reading plans, working to levels, and using machinery preferred If you're looking for your next opportunity, apply now or contact gregor.t@stellarrecruitment.co.nz for more information.
