As part of our Butchery team, you will play a crucial role in daily operations, working closely with our skilled butchers to help deliver the finest meat products to our customers. Position snapshot * Immediate start * Permanent, full-time role * Location: Ihumatao Road, Mangere * Days: Monday to Friday (5 days/week) * Shift: 04:30am – 01:30pm About the role | Mo te turanga mahi Your primary responsibility is to accurately package and prepare meat products to meet our strict quality and safety standards. Key Tasks Include: * Packing and labelling meat products with precision and care * Ensuring all products meet food safety and quality requirements * Operating vac-pack and other equipment to wrap meat * Preparing and organising orders for timely delivery * Maintaining a clean and hygienic workspace * Supporting meat preparation tasks (full training provided) * Following all Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures * Assisting with general butchery and operational duties You'll be working in a temperature-controlled environment, so comfort with chilled or freezer conditions is essential. The role also involves repetitive hand movements and some heavy lifting.
