Ability to provide high-quality and timely support for the Chef ALDEN ROSE LODGE - PART-TIME KITCHEN HAND An opportunity has arisen for an energetic and friendly person to join our team at Rose Lodge. This is a Part-time position requiring a reliable person to work every Saturday, 9:30 am - 2:30 pm Your responsibilities will include: * Following the requirements of the Food Control Plan to ensure that all elements are completed as documented * Cleaning of all kitchen surfaces including washing dishes and removing rubbish from the kitchen * Working with the chef to unload and put away stock * Supporting the chef with food preparation Our ideal candidate will: * Be outgoing, friendly and have a can-do attitude * Enjoy providing top-class customer service to ensure a great dining experience for our residents and their guests * Have the ability to provide high-quality and timely support for the Chef * Having prior experience with food preparation and presentation is preferable * Enjoy working autonomously as well as part of a team.
