Opportunity to take real ownership of projects We are a well-established Christchurch kitchen design, supply and installation company looking for a talented Kitchen Designer to join our small, passionate team based in the Christchurch CBD. We work on a wide range of projects including architectural homes, high-end renovations, and multi-unit developments, and pride ourselves on quality design, clear communication, and delivering a high level of service to our clients. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with clients, taking ownership of projects, and seeing their designs come to life — from concept through to installation. You’ll be working closely with builders, developers, and homeowners, designing kitchens that are both functional and visually impressive. What you’ll be doing: • Meeting with clients to discuss their kitchen and project requirements • Designing kitchen layouts and detailed drawings using Winner, CabMaster, or similar CAD software • Helping clients select materials, finishes, and hardware • Preparing designs for pricing and production • Working alongside our team and suppliers to ensure projects run smoothly • Taking ownership of projects from concept through to completion What we’re looking for: • Experience in kitchen design and sales • Experience using Winner, CabMaster, or similar CAD software • Strong design sense and attention to detail • Good understanding of materials and hardware • Confident working with clients, builders, and homeowners • Ability to manage multiple projects at once • Someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a team What we offer: • Competitive salary ($70,000 – $90,000 depending on experience) • Supportive, small team environment • Variety of interesting projects • Christchurch CBD location • Opportunity to grow within the company • The chance to take real ownership of your projects from start to finish
