Opportunity to create exceptional interior environments INTERIOR DESIGNER – HIGH-END RESIDENTIAL PROJECTS Condon Scott Architects is an established NZIA registered practice based in Wanaka. Our award-winning work is primarily high-end, bespoke residential projects, from conception to completion. Our firm delivers innovative and bespoke designs that capitalise on each client’s unique site and landscape across the Queenstown Lakes district and beyond. Due to a vacancy, we are seeking a talented Interior Designer to lead the interiors aspect of our projects. This role is client-facing and requires a designer with a strong background in high-end architecture and an excellent understanding of the architectural process. Responsibilities: * Oversee the interior design direction for each project, including preparation of concept sketches, coordination of moodboards and selections; * Lead and coordinate the interiors workflow across all project stages; * Conduct client meetings, showroom visits and concept presentations; * Coordinate with our technical team for the development of the interior technical drawings; * Liaise with consultants, suppliers and merchants in relation to the interior design; * Conduct site observation and liaise with contractors for the interiors during the construction process, including review of shop drawings and walk-throughs; * Coordinate schedules, estimates and material samples; * Ensure all interior documentation, deliverables and timelines are accurate and deadlines met. Requirements: * Proven experience in interior design for high-end residential or architectural projects with minimum 5 years experience; * Strong understanding of the architectural design process; * Excellent communication and coordination skills; * Proficiency in Archicad, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite; * Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
