Based in Kawerau, Bay of Plenty, our workshop supports a wide range of industries including distribution, manufacturing, wood processing, and power generation across the Central North Island. About the Role We’re looking for a skilled Mechanical Tradesman to join our dynamic team. This hands-on role involves the repair and restoration of electro-mechanical equipment, with a focus on rotating machinery. You’ll be dismantling, assessing, fabricating, machining, and ensuring precision in every repair. Your work will directly contribute to delivering high-quality, reliable equipment back to our customers—often in better-than-new condition. Key Responsibilities • Measure and assess mechanical fits with precision • Coordinate repairs in-house or with trusted subcontractors • Perform quality control on repaired and replacement parts • Maintain and manage workshop measuring equipment What We’re Looking For You’re a mechanically minded professional with a strong understanding of rotating equipment, bearings, and mechanical tolerances. You take pride in your work, have a keen eye for detail, and enjoy solving mechanical challenges.
