Apatu Farms is a leading, family-owned, Hawkes Bay agribusiness focused on growing quality produce for local and global customers. Our operations here in the Bay are very diverse, growing, transporting and exporting a variety of fruit and vegetables. We are looking for experienced apple orchardists to join our Pipfruit Division. We are growing premium apple varieties (including RockitTM and ENVYTM) and with top of the line orchard machinery this role will suit someone who enjoys operating a good machine and achieving accurate, quality results. About the role: You will be a part of a team of great people who are passionate about growing first-class produce. With access to top-of-the-line equipment, you’ll be involved with innovative growing systems and initiatives. This role will also support our orchard spraying operations at crucial times of the year to support our high-quality produce focus. About you: * Experience of the full apple orchard operations annual life-cycle. * An ability to operate a wide range of machinery and experience with orchard spraying operations. *Current Growsafe Certification is advantageous *Willingness to get stuck in and work with a team to achieve high-quality results.
