This is a hands-on role for someone who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and actively participate in daily operations while maintaining a strong strategic focus. What You’ll Be Doing • Leading and supporting a small full time team • Planning, hiring, and inducting seasonal workers • Overseeing Health & Safety across all sites • Managing timekeeping and payroll • Acting as Financial Controller (budgets, reporting, cost management) • Coordinating export/import logistics and documentation • Ensuring compliance with export and phytosanitary standards • Maintaining strong customer and supplier relationships • Collecting and analyzing production data to support decision making • Actively contributing to daily business processes with a forward-thinking mindset • Taking ownership and driving continuous improvement across the company You will report directly to the Director/Owner and play a key role in the smooth running and future growth of the business. We prefer candidates with proven experience in agriculture, horticulture, or the primary sector. However, we will also consider recent graduates with relevant tertiary qualifications who demonstrate strong potential and motivation. You’ll Bring • A tertiary qualification in agriculture, horticulture, management, or administration • Experience in the agricultural/primary sector (preferred) • Strong computer skills • Excellent communication and organizational ability • Confidence working independently and making sound decisions • No 9-to-5 mentality, But a results-driven mindset with excellent time management skills.
