We are a seeking a Roading Network Engineer to support road management activities, across Central Otago’s diverse roading network. The key deliverables in respect of this position will be the roles of Traffic Management Coordinator (TMC) and Road Safety Coordinator. This is a full-time role in our Roading Team however, consideration will be given to a part time role depending on the candidate. The role includes: Temporary Traffic Management and Network Access * Designated CODC Traffic Management Coordinator (TMC). * External Traffic Management (TMP) Approvals  * Corridor Access Requests (CAR) Processing * Road Closures  * Abandoned Vehicle management * Vehicle Accessway Applications  Road Safety Co-ordination * Attending various meetings regarding road safety across the region. * Writing data-informed road safety programmes. * Coordinating and facilitating efforts to address road safety problems within Central Otago. * Bringing an organised and systematic approach to coordinating road safety in the district. * Assisting with gaining various sponsorships for road safety.
