This is a key onsite leadership role, where you'll be the main point of contact and play a pivotal part in bridging the carpentry team and management.
Your first project will be an $8M high-end build located near Glenorchy. With the lead designer based out of Seattle and a local New Zealand architect overseeing and adapting the plans on the ground, this will be an outstanding project to add to your portfolio and resume.
What's in it for you:
* Management team who lead from the front with great communication
* Huge workload in the pipeline with projects of multiple sizes
* Plenty of training, development and support
* $60ph - $65ph wages + Vehicle + Company benefits and allowances
* One of a kind architectural builds to add to your ever growing experience
Role:
We are keen to hear from candidates with extensive experience delivering high-end residential builds, who have the confidence to lead carpentry teams while overseeing subcontractors, materials, and forecasting. You will play a key role in overall project delivery, working closely alongside Project Managers, Directors, Clients, and Suppliers to ensure successful outcomes.
This is a hands-on role, with a rough 70/30 split between being on the tools and overseeing the construction teams. You'll need to be tech-savvy, with a solid understanding of planning, scheduling, and the broader requirements that help drive a successful project from start to finish.
What we are looking for:
* A strong leader with proven experience in high-end residential construction
* A forward thinker with a genuine passion for the trades
* Driven, ambitious, and operating with integrity
* Highly organised with excellent problem-solving skills
