We're on the lookout for an experienced CNC Machinist who's ready to take on a Workshop Manager role. While hands-on machining will still be part of your day, we're ideally seeking someone who has experience managing staff, overseeing workflow, and keeping a workshop running smoothly - or someone confident and capable of stepping into that leadership space.   Key Responsibilities * Manage daily workshop operations, workflow, and job scheduling * Support, mentor, and guide workshop staff * Produce precision components using steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper, and plastics * Program and operate a 3-axis CNC milling machine (Fusion 360 & Fanuc) * Program and operate CNC lathes * Interpret customer drawings and ensure jobs are completed to specification * Maintain quality control across all machining work * Assist with improving processes, efficiency, and workshop safety   What We're Looking For * Minimum 5 years' CNC machining experience (milling & turning essential) * Staff leadership or supervisory experience preferred * Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship * Ability to work independently and manage multiple jobs in a busy workshop * A proactive, reliable, and adaptable individual   What's on Offer * Long-term workshop manager opportunity * Hands-on machining plus staff and workflow oversight * 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday * Flexible day-shift hours * Overtime available * Competitive pay rate (experience dependent) * Supportive environment with room to grow For all inquiries please contact Louis or Chris at OneStaff on 03 377 3992
