




This is a full-time role with flexibility to work from home or from our office – whatever suits you best. We manage a number of companies across industries like manufacturing, exporting, land holdings, family trusts, and offshore operations (including Ukraine). It's a varied and engaging accounting role – never boring! You'll be responsible for: - Transitioning several entities from MYOB to Xero - Managing multiple company accounts, including: - 100% GST-based businesses - Variable-rate GST and international export/import operations - Inter-company transactions - Handling entities including offshore manufacturing, NZ export companies, family trusts, and land ownership - Coordinating with our part-time staff who handle Amazon receipts and day-to-day admin - Working closely with our experienced consultants, who can support and train you in advanced Xero systems - Supporting our small team in day-to-day accounting and reporting What We’re Looking For: - Proven experience with Xero (or strong willingness to transition from MYOB to Xero quickly) - Comfortable handling multiple entities and complex financial transactions - Excellent software skills and a good grasp of modern cloud-based accounting - Ability to work efficiently and independently – but also collaborate well in a small team - Based in or around the Invercargill area - A younger or mid-career professional who is looking for a role they can own and grow with Why Join Us? - Flexible working – work from home and/or from our quiet Invercargill office - Interesting and varied accounting work – not just ticking boxes! - A stable, supportive environment with long-term staff - Ongoing training and support from our Xero Consultant - Opportunities to grow as our business continues to evolve If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
