Exporting to customers in a range of international markets, including Asia, America, and Europe. They act as a one-stop shop, sourcing from farms, fisheries, and manufacturers to offer customers thousands of high-quality products at competitive prices. Founder-led business with unique profiles, combining a CA (big 4) with over a decade global investment banking experience, with a 15-year track record in food exporting. Our client has ambition to scale quickly, and a willingness to invest in people, systems and processes. ABOUT THE ROLE This is a pivotal role for the business that will suit someone that is diligent, but also thrives in complex environments and can shape the financial capabilities of the business. You will also have the below key responsibilities. * Overall management and responsibility for finance function across Australia and New Zealand * Recording / entering / maintaining financial data (sales, purchases, expenses, etc.) in finance and sales systems * Day-to-day bookkeeping / banks reconciliations and cash flow management, including payments * Managing working capital, including trade finance and FX hedges * Budgeting (both annual and medium term) * Weekly / monthly management reporting * Statutory compliance (GST, IRD / ATO) * Maintaining company data across finance and sales systems, and using it to develop insights and shape decisions * Design and delivery of finance-related projects - systems implementation, process improvement, using data / analytics to improve MI, etc ABOUT YOU You would have worked as a Finance Manager in the past and have the below attributes: * CA - 5+ years post qualification * Xero / bookkeeping proficiency * Knowledge of / experience with trade financing / FX * F, P&A experience or a willingness and aptitude to learn (includes budgeting / forecasting, management reporting / tracking KPIs, trend analysis, etc) * SME experience (preferred) SOUND LIKE YOU?
