If you are a high-energy individual with a passion for finance and human resources, this is the position for you. As Business Manager, you will play a key part in the day-to-day operations of the school. You will lead and advise the Principal in all matters covering financial management, administration, human resources, as well as strategic business planning. Ideally, you will be a manager who is commercial adept, with considerable business nous and strong accounting skills and knowledge ensuring that our parent community has a seamless payment experience via Kindo and that our financial records are pristine within Xero. Prior experience in a school environment an advantage but not essential. We are seeking candidates with the energy and drive to deliver exceptional outcomes. Beyond experience in the core operation outlined, your strong relationship management skills will be valued when engaging with a broad range of stakeholders and senior colleagues. The ability to translate commercial risks and opportunities into practical strategic advice for the Principal and the Board will be essential. Ideally, you will be CA qualified, or similar and want to embrace the opportunities for innovation and improvement. Please note only those with the legal right to work in New Zealand will be considered for this role. A police vet will be required. Remuneration and contract is covered by the Support Staff in Schools Collective Agreement – Grade 7, Step 1. The start date is negotiable. However, the position is vacant from Monday 16 March 2026. This position includes working during the school holidays.
