Role:
This company is seeking a highly experienced and technically strong Senior Quantity Surveyor/Estimator who can take ownership of the tendering process and consistently deliver accurate, commercially sound outcomes.
You'll be someone who can think critically, identify risks and opportunities, and add value beyond the numbers. Leadership is key, this role requires mentoring junior team members and contributing to a high-performing estimating function.
Strong communication and relationship management skills are essential, as you'll be working closely with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders. A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to perform under pressure will set you apart.

What we are looking for:
* Previous cost estimation and contract management in Residential & Commercial construction
* Understanding of construction laws, regulations and industry standards
* Strong communicator who is confident dealing with suppliers, contractors and all levels of management
* Confident with evaluating and negotiating contracts and proficiency in QS software and tools - (CostX/Costcon preferred)
* H&S conscious and Ability to read and interpret complex construction drawings
Candidates must have 10+ years of NZ experience in the construction industry
