This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-driven Quantity Surveyor who enjoys hands-on involvement across the full project lifecycle and working closely with project and site teams. The role You will take ownership of cost management across multiple residential projects, working closely with the Project Manager and Site Foreman to ensure budgets, labour, and materials are effectively controlled. Key responsibilities include: * Preparing cost estimates from concept through to detailed design * Completing quantity take-offs, material schedules, and tender packages * Implementing building contracts and managing subcontractor pricing * Tracking construction costs, identifying variances, and managing variations * Producing clear, client-focused cost reports and forecasts * Supporting labour hour and material tracking against tender allowances About you You will bring a professional, proactive approach and strong attention to detail. Ideally, you will have: * A relevant degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar * 2+ years' experience in quantity surveying or cost management (residential preferred) * Proficiency in CostX, Excel, and Microsoft Office * Strong communication skills with the ability to explain cost information clearly * A practical, commercially focused mindset * A clean driver's licence Local knowledge of Queenstown building costs and regulations will be highly regarded.
