




* Make your mark and contribute to project success * QS and Project Financial Management * Stable company based in Dunedin with a strong pipeline of works In this role you will see the overall reporting on the financial health of all allocated and active projects on a regular basis. You will contribute as a senior member of the business, being able to provide proactive and constructive feedback and comments in a confident manner on topics as required. Your responsibilities will include: * Tracking Budget against actual costs including Labour, Materials, and Subcontractors * Variations progress * Progress Claims and Cash Flow * Accurate reporting of timeframes in order for WIP to be calculated monthly. * Costs to Complete and Final Account forecasting * Identify project risks, opportunities, and contingencies * Identify and disclose discrepancies and omissions as quickly as possible and formulate strategy to minimise cost implications * Close-out and back-cost all completed projects * Various other tasks as required within the business You will be / have: * Previous quantity surveying and estimating experience gained from within NZ * Possess a relevant tertiary qualification * Have excellent time management skills * Good construction understanding and awareness * Good financial management skills * Strong interpersonal skills For further details regarding this role please contact Andrew Knight E: Andrew.k@stellarrecruitment.co.nz or P: 021 0299 4861
