Contribute to high-quality project outcomes Quantity Surveyor Competitive Base Pay Dunedin Based Start Immediately We are partnering with our client to recruit a driven Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of complex construction projects across all phases, from procurement through to final account. This role is well suited to a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to further develop their commercial and contractual expertise. About the Role You will play a key role in supporting the commercial and contractual management of projects, working closely with project teams to ensure accurate reporting, cost control, and effective risk management. This is an opportunity to contribute to high-quality project outcomes while building capability across all stages of the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities - Support procurement processes including tender preparation, evaluation, and subcontract administration - Maintain cost plans, CVRs, and accurate reporting across project phases - Assist with variations, claims, extensions of time, and final accounts - Support contract administration and manage commercial documentation - Monitor project risks and escalate issues where required - Collaborate with project teams to align cost, time, and scope - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company standards About You You bring strong commercial awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to support cost and contract management in a collaborative team environment. You will have: - Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar - 3–5 years’ experience in a QS role (ideally within commercial, civil, or infrastructure projects) - Exposure to post-contract administration including variations, claims, and final accounts - Strong numerical, analytical, and reporting skills - Proficiency in Excel and QS software - Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills Apply Now If you’re a motivated Quantity Surveyor looking to build your career while contributing to the successful delivery of complex projects, we’d welcome your application.
