Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our Auckland team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop their career in Quantity Surveying while working alongside experienced Project Managers and Senior Quantity Surveyors on a wide range of exciting commercial construction projects. About the Role As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you will support our Quantity Surveying and Project Management teams with estimating, procurement, project administration, cost tracking, contract administration, and financial reporting. You will gain hands-on experience across all stages of commercial construction projects while receiving ongoing training and development. Key Responsibilities Assist with quantity take-offs and measurements. Support the preparation of tender submissions and pricing. Obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations. Assist with procurement and purchase orders. Support Project Managers with project administration tasks. Assist with preparing and tracking variations. Review supplier invoices and subcontractor claims. Maintain project cost tracking and reporting. Assist with payment claims and project accounts. Maintain accurate project records and documentation. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: A strong interest in the construction industry. Excellent attention to detail. Strong numerical and analytical skills. Good communication and organisational skills. A positive attitude and willingness to learn. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Preferred Studying towards or having completed a qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field.
