Opportunity for leadership and development About the role We are searching for a Contracts Supervisor to join our Tauranga and Kawerau Projects Team, based in the beautiful region of the Bay of Plenty. This is a permanent full-time (40 hours per week) position managing the Projects Delivery Team. Whilst the days of work will predominantly be Monday to Friday, weekend work may be called for on an as and when required basis. This is a great opportunity for those who are looking for a new challenge and get stuck into some really exciting projects. The position requires the incumbent to be a registered Electrician with a current practicing license. In addition, we are seeking candidates with the following experience: * Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical construction * Proven leadership as a team lead or leading hand * Strong capability in quoting and preparing tenders, ideally using ERP systems * Background in commercial contracting * Hands-on experience with power distribution and street lighting maintenance The following skills and attributes will allow the candidate to be successful in this role: * Proven and effective people management skills * The ability and/or experience in using contract management tools such as NIMBUS * Strong communication skills, both oral and written * Excellent time management skills * Strong computer skills and competency with the Microsoft Office Suite. * Effective and positive leadership skills * The ability to develop QA/ HSE plans * A problem solver with a solution-focused attitude * Excellent customer service skills * The ability to build and maintain positive working relationships * Keen to develop own knowledge and that of others If this is an opportunity that appeals to you, apply now!
