Summary: We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to oversee machinery maintenance, condition monitoring, and reporting, ensuring adherence to specifications and standards. Highlights: 1. Diagnose mechanical equipment faults and analyze equipment failure About the role: We are searching for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our McKay Team based in the OJI Tasman Site in Kawerau. The purpose of this position is to supervise machinery maintenance (Routine and Corrective), condition monitoring and reporting, and ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out to the required specifications and standards. Improve asset data quality and sop document improvement recommendations. To be considered you will need to hold the following: - * NZ Cert Mechanical Engineering Trade / Level 4, Maintenance Engineering or, Fitting and Machining strand. Or equivalent. * OR * Apprenticed in Mechanical or Allied trade, unqualified. Extensive Relevant Industry and machinery experience. Or equivilant. In addition, we are looking for candidates with the following attributes: * 5 years + experience in an industrial manufacturing environment * Able to diagnose mechanical equipment faults and analyze equipment failure * Familiarity and understanding of digital alignment tools, diagnostic and configuration devices and systems is desirable. * Can perform alignment including complex alignment on rotating equipment, in a range of equipment configurations. * Strong computer (MS Office applications), written and verbal communication skills * Ability to perform analysis on lubrication data and provide improvement recommendations * A solution-focused attitude These are permanent full-time (42.5 hours per week) positions. Any additional hours worked over above your contracted hours, will be paid at overtime rates.
