At JRL we carry out residential and commercial electrical projects as well as a varied range of HVAC projects including ducted heat pumps and commercial ventilation and VRF systems! The majority of our work is on new builds, so its good clean work! We are offering an above average rumination package so we are on the hunt for an above average estimator! Only the best need apply! Our Ideal Applicant: • At least 3 years experience in a similar role • Be a qualified electrician • Experience estimating both residential and large scale commercial projects! • Honest, Hardworking and Punctual • Ability to read and understand engineered drawings and specifications • Ability to work unsupervised and make decisions on their own • Experience in pricing HVAC and electrical for mechanical would be a huge advantage! • NZ Residency and currently residing in NZ (essential, please do not apply if you are not an NZ resident or citizen) Key Responsibilities: • Liaising directly with our clients and there employees • Reading plans and specification to price electrical and / or HVAC installations on residential and commercial properties • Liaising with material suppliers and sub contractors • Following up with clients and chasing leads to win work • Working closely with management team and submitting cost estimations and back costing reports for review • Ensuring jobs are priced on time and accurately If the above sounds like you then please send your CV and cover letter to jobs@jrlelectrical.co.nz
