The Opportunity
This is a permanent, full-time position for an experienced electrician or solar professional ready to transition into (or further develop within) an estimator role. You’ll be responsible for estimating and pricing a variety of projects, including:
- Residential, commercial, and industrial solar installations
- EV charging infrastructure (including Tesla chargers)
- Forward-thinking energy and general electrical projects
You’ll collaborate closely with the director and teams to scope work, prepare accurate costings, and contribute to successful project delivery. There is genuine scope to grow into a senior or leadership position as the solar arm continues to expand.
About You
This role would suit a registered electrician with solar experience, or someone with a strong electrical background and a clear interest in renewables and estimation.
Requirements
- Registered with the EWRB (limited licence electricians considered)
- Solid electrical knowledge with industry experience
- Previous solar experience or strong interest in renewable energy
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Confident reviewing plans, scopes, and site requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Comfortable working at heights (training available if needed)
