Learn from experienced professionals toward a recognised trade qualification About the Role: As a Trainee Cable Jointer, you will support the team with the installation, replacement, and repair of underground electricity distribution assets. You'll be hands-on in the field while receiving ongoing training, mentoring, and development to help you grow into a qualified Cable Jointer. Key Responsibilities: * Assist with the installation, replacement, and repair of underground distribution cables * Excavate and reinstate underground cable installation sites * Participate in, complete, and pass block courses and associated unit standards within required timeframes * Support the team with accurate and timely completion of field paperwork, reports, and asset documentation * Help the team meet customer, company, and regulatory performance standards * Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other stakeholders * Maintain a professional image and deliver positive customer experiences * Look for opportunities to improve work practices, safety, and personal development * Take care of company equipment, tools, and PPE * Follow all health, safety, quality, and environmental requirements at all times * Perform other reasonable duties as required * Health, Safety & Environment Safety is a core part of this role.
