This is a great opportunity to be involved in diverse and exciting, small and large-scale electrical projects for New Zealand and overseas clients. This position would suit an intermediate to senior Automation Engineer looking for a new challenge. The successful candidate will have: * Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Automation or a related field. * 3 years + experience in Automation Engineering. * Strong working knowledge of AS/NZS 3000:2018. * Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control systems, and automation technology. * Proficiency in PLC programming languages (e.g., ladder logic, structured text) and HMI software. * Familiarity with various automation protocols. Other key attributes: * Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards. * Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. * Experience with CAD software for control panel design. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills. * Experience in project management and automation project life cycles. * Flexibility, able to adapt quickly to different customer expectations. * Adaptability to stay updated on the latest automation technologies and industry trends.
