experienced Industrial Electrician, then we’re interested in talking to you. \r\n\r\nEntec’s instrumentation and electrical business is growing at a stellar pace. The size of our team has doubled in the last few years, but our workload is growing even faster. As a result, we are looking for experienced tradespeople to work in both maintenance and project roles within our large I&E business. This role would best suit tradespeople with maintenance or construction experience. \r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nA little bit about us\r\n\r\nEntec is envied for the calibre of its staff and the consistently high quality of the products, projects and services that we deliver to our customers. We operate across mechanical, instrumentation, electrical and gas detection disciplines and we are proud of our reputation as a good supplier, and a good employer. Entec is privately owned and well-managed; we aim to keep the feel of the small family business that we were a few years ago, while offering the capability, security and strength of a large company.\r\n\r\nTake a look at our company profile video via the link at the bottom of this page to get an overview of our business, or visit our website to learn more about us: https://www.entec.co.nz.\r\n\r\nOur workforce now numbers around 130 people across our locations in Auckland, Taupo, New Plymouth, and we operate nationwide.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nThe job we have on offer.\r\n\r\nWe are looking for a qualified and experienced Industrial Electrician. Hazardous area training and experience is preferred but not mandatory; we will provide this training for the right candidates. You will also need to have initiative and the ability to self-manage your work. \r\n\r\nAs Entec runs a large apprentice programme your participation in training and mentoring is an expectation.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nTo be considered for this role you would need to hold or demonstrate:\r\n\r\n• recognised industry trade qualifications,\r\n\r\n• Current, full EWRB NZ practising licence\r\n\r\n• a minimum of two years’ relevant experience,\r\n\r\n• an ability to interpret schematic drawings and understand and manage technical documentation.\r\n\r\n• the ability to problem solve,\r\n\r\n• focus and attention to detail,\r\n\r\n• effective communication at all levels\r\n\r\n• the ability to help create and work to, production schedules,\r\n\r\n• a commitment to Entec’s Health, Safety and Quality culture, and\r\n\r\n• to be willing to work as part of a dynamic team.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nRemuneration will be by way of competitive hourly rate dependant on trade qualifications, relevant experience, and any other skills you can bring to the business. Penal rates and other allowances are also paid. The standard working week will be 40 hours, with potential for overtime to be worked as well. While some of our project work will be centred around Taranaki, the majority of our project work will require you to be able to commit to periods of working away from home outside of the Taranaki region.\r\n\r\nIf you fit the bill and would like to pursue this opportunity to take the next step in your career, then please apply online today with a Covering Letter and a CV.","price":"Negotiable Salary","unit":"per year","currency":null,"company":"Trademe","language":"en","online":1,"infoType":1,"biz":"jobs","postDate":"1763432451000","seoName":"industrial-electrician","supplement":null,"author":null,"originalPrice":null,"soldCnt":null,"topSeller":null,"source":1,"cardType":null,"action":"https://nz.ok.com/en/city/cate-electrical-engineering/industrial-electrician-6443935382860911/","localIds":"45","cateId":null,"tid":null,"logParams":{"tid":"d36833c5-92d4-4766-9b57-fcadd91dbbc1","sid":"7ae18b5c-c179-4d92-8372-6cb2d123820c"},"attrParams":{"summary":null,"highLight":["Qualified Industrial Electrician needed","Hazardous area training preferred","Competitive hourly rate with penalties"],"employment":[{"icon":"https://sgj1.ok.com/yongjia/bkimg/8hvituaa__w72_h72.webp","name":"Job Type","value":"Full-time","unit":null},{"icon":"https://sgj1.ok.com/yongjia/bkimg/is8j0f44__w72_h72.webp","name":"Workplace type","value":"Onsite","unit":null},{"icon":"https://sgj1.ok.com/yongjia/bkimg/ji66qqr0__w72_h72.webp","name":null,"value":"New Plymouth,Taranaki Region","unit":null}]},"isFavorite":false},{"category":"4000,4143,4149","location":"Hamilton, New Zealand","infoId":"6443799421990511","pictureUrl":"https://sgpic3.ok.com/logo/trademe.png","videos":null,"title":"Team Leader Underground Projects - Design and Plan","content":"Works Programme is a key group within the core operational groups here at WEL.
