**About the Role**
As a House Leader, you will provide direct support while leading and motivating a team within the home. With guidance from the Service Manager, you will oversee staff to ensure safe, effective, and person‑centred support in our respite service.
It is important that you are able to notice how children are feeling, and to provide them with guidance, comfort, or support as needed. You will need to be vigilant, keep the plans in place and be responsive. Additionally, as the children have a vast range of communication styles, some are non-verbal; an ability to learn and adapt to different ways to communicate is very much preferred. As a House Leader, you are also expected to be a role model for the Community Support Workers you will be working with.
