This a newly created and pivotal role in their evolving business and is a pivotal opportunity for someone who enjoys working across training, compliance, and operational support to improve the way financial advice is delivered across the country. About the Opportunity This is a rare chance to step into a broad, meaningful role where you'll help drive change in how quality financial advice is delivered across Aotearoa. With a 30-year history and a strong traditional model, the business is now growing into the digital space – offering clients more flexibility and control over how they access financial advice. As Advice Support Associate, you’ll support both sides of the business: helping long-serving advisers adapt to updated processes, while embedding scalable systems, training, and compliance frameworks to support future growth. You’ll work closely with the operations and adviser teams across the country – providing training, checking advice files, rolling out new tools, and helping make the advice experience better for both clients and advisers. Key Responsibilities - Conduct regular reviews of client advice files for quality and compliance - Provide structured feedback and support to advisers and nominated representatives - Maintain up-to-date advice templates, processes, and registers - Assist with onboarding, coaching, and ongoing development of advisers - Design and deliver training and development plans across the adviser group - Help embed scalable client service processes and technology tools - Act as a link between advice, client care, and operations teams - Support projects focused on improving adviser and client outcomes - Report regularly to the Operations Manager with insights and trends - Contribute to continuous improvement of advice delivery across the business What we’re looking for: - Minimum 5 years’ experience in the financial advice industry - Level 5 Certificate in Financial Services (or currently completing it) - Strong knowledge of compliance requirements and advice processes - Experience training, coaching, or supporting advisers or advice teams - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Comfortable working with digital advice tools, CRMs, and templates - High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a solutions-focused mindset - Confident engaging with a wide range of personalities and seniority levels - Ability to work independently and take initiative without needing micromanagement What’s in it for you? - Flexible hours and work-from-home options - An opportunity to shape and grow with a business that’s investing in innovation - Supportive, down-to-earth team culture - Career development opportunities into advice, compliance, or leadership If you’re experienced in the financial advice space and ready to influence meaningful change, click apply now!
