Job Description We are seeking a reliable and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to lead our hygiene and sanitation team within a fast-paced lamb processing facility. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the plant meets strict food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities * Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning operations across the processing plant * Lead, train, and motivate a team of cleaning staff * Ensure all cleaning procedures meet industry, MPI, and company standards * Conduct routine inspections and audits of hygiene practices * Manage cleaning schedules and ensure completion within required timeframes * Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and compliance checks * Liaise with production and quality assurance teams to meet operational requirements * Ensure safe handling and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment * Promote a strong health and safety culture within the team Qualifications * Previous experience in a supervisory role, ideally within food processing or industrial cleaning * Knowledge of hygiene and sanitation standards in meat or food processing environments * Strong leadership and team management skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment * Good communication and organisational skills * Understanding of health & safety regulations * Flexibility to work shifts, including nights if required Additional information To ensure a safe workplace, AFFCO conducts pre-employment medical checks and drug screening.
