Steady work with possibility of permanent employment The RoleWe're looking for a reliable and hardworking Workshop Assistant to join our client's galvanising clean-up and dispatch area. This is an essential role supporting tradesmen by preparing, handling, and dispatching parts. While the work is repetitive and physically demanding, it's vital to keep production running smoothly. Located in Ashhurst.  Key Responsibilities: * Assist tradesmen with tasks such as cutting, drilling, lifting, punching holes, and cleaning parts. * Clean and prepare work areas to eliminate possible hazards. * Sort, file, and account for metal parts in the dispatch area. * Load, unload, and move materials, machinery, and tools to the right locations. * Follow all company health & safety policies and procedures. * Forklift movement of materials * Carry out other duties as required.
