Based in Napier, this role offers the opportunity to develop your technical capability across a diverse range of projects. Whether you’re looking to strengthen your design experience, broaden your field exposure, or progress into leadership over time, this role provides the support and pathways to get there. We’re seeking a Civil Engineer to contribute across a broad mix of civil infrastructure and geotechnical projects, supporting delivery from investigation and design through to reporting, client engagement, and project coordination. You’ll gain exposure to areas including: - Civil engineering design and technical delivery - Geotechnical investigations and field work - Land development projects - Earthworks, stormwater, wastewater and water infrastructure - Pavement and roading projects - Site investigations and reporting - Project coordination and stakeholder engagement - Client interaction and relationship management Responsibilities include: - Preparing engineering reports, technical documentation and design outputs - Supporting delivery of civil and geotechnical projects from concept through to completion - Undertaking or coordinating field investigations and data collection - Providing practical engineering solutions to technical challenges - Liaising with clients, contractors and project stakeholders - Supporting project budgeting, programming and delivery timeframes You may be an intermediate Civil Engineer with NZ experience looking for your next step, or an experienced engineer wanting greater variety and long-term growth. Ideally you’ll bring: - Relevant Civil Engineering qualification - Experience in civil infrastructure, land development, water, roading, or geotechnical projects - Experience using 12D and/or similar civil design software advantageous - Strong technical reporting and problem-solving capability - Understanding of NZ engineering standards and practices - Ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues - Desire to continue developing technical capability and leadership skills Why Join?
