Working for Alden - we ensure that we always put our Residents first. A fixed term part time opportunity has become available for an experienced Cook at our Rose Court Facility in Christchurch. You will be responsible for assisting with cooking in our on-site, commercial kitchen and ensure that all nutritional requirements are met. About the Role: * Fixed term part time * You will be providing nutritious and attractive meals to our residents. * Menu is on a 4 week rotation. * Ensuring excellent food hygiene practice at all times * Work unsupervised and cope with a busy environment * Cleaning up food preparation areas and kitchens * Operating the dishwasher * Handling food deliveries About You: * Savvy knowledge of food prep and safety * Knowledge of food safety standards (167/168) * Food Handling certificate required or support to work towards. * Experience in a commercial setting * Dedicated and reliable * Caring nature and passionate about working with the elderly * Excellent communication skills * Team player If you want to join our team, please apply today.
