We have expanded our operation so now we need to expand the team. We have an exciting Chef role in beautiful Timaru, at our new Mega Cafe. We have a Chef opportunity working alongside our talented chef and motivated Owner. We are a small but professional kitchen team who believe in having fun while we work hard. Going above and beyond to offer our customers a premium coffee and food experience ,we are looking for an experienced Chef. What do we offer ? Competitive pay rate Early starts and early finishes, usually 6:00 am till 3.00 pm Well equipped Kitchen Minimum of 40 hours guaranteed. Fun and efficient team Training and upskilling You will contribute to the successful running of the kitchen - in a busy cafe environment. You will be given a full induction and training but need to have a desire to work independently after full training. As the ideal candidate for this role you will Be experienced working in a busy restaurant or café kitchen, baking experience an advantage but not necessary. Be a team player with good communication skills Be a professional who strives to maintain high standards and who takes real pride in the quality of the food Solution focused with an ability to manage stressful situations effectively, we are a busy café! Be able to work on a 7 day roster which will include weekdays, weekends and public holidays as required This is NOT an entry level position.
