This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can confidently run their own jobs, manage staff on site, and deliver high-quality work while maintaining a professional relationship with clients. If you can read a set of plans, organise the day, keep things moving, and still care about finish and detail — you’ll fit right in. Ideally we're looking for a qualified builder, but we would consider a high performing apprentice close to being qualified. Keenan Construction is a medium-sized (and growing) building company based in Christchurch city with a strong pipeline of work across Christchurch and Selwyn. We cover a wide variety of work, from renovations, to new builds and light commercial, and pride ourselves on quality delivery and a great team culture. We’re a work hard / play hard crew — the team gets stuck in on site, but we also prioritise enjoying the wins together with bi-monthly social club activities.
