**Tō tūranga hou | Your new role**
As a Construction Foreman, you will take ownership of on-site delivery, leading crews and coordinating daily operations to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You will work closely with the Project Manager and Site Manager to plan works, manage subcontractors, and drive programme outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supervising site crews and subcontractors
* Coordinating daily activities and short-term planning
* Ensuring health & safety compliance and site standards are maintained
* Monitoring progress against programme and resolving on-site challenges
* Maintaining quality assurance and documentation
* Supporting a strong team culture and mentoring junior staff
**Ngā uara me ngā pūkenga e angitu ai koe | What you'll need to succeed**
* Proven experience in a Foreman or Leading Hand role on commercial construction projects
* Strong understanding of structural construction methodologies and sequencing
* Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Commitment to health, safety, and quality outcomes
* A proactive mindset with the ability to problem-solve on the go
* Relevant trade qualification or equivalent industry experience
