Working across a range of commercial and residential construction projects in the Hamilton/Waikato region. About the Role: You will be working on varied construction sites - from structural work and framing through to detailed finishing. You'll be joining teams who take pride in their work, value safety, and deliver to high standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and skilled carpenter to step into a long-term role with flexibility and strong support. Key Responsibilities: * Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications * Carry out a full range of carpentry tasks including form work, framing, cladding, and finishing * Ensure high-quality workmanship and compliance with NZ building standards * Work safely and professionally on active job sites * Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other trades * Maintain a clean and safe working environment * Provide mentorship or oversight to apprentices or labourers as needed Requirements: * Proven hands-on experience in commercial and/or residential construction * Full tool kit and tool belt * Physically fit and able to work on active construction sites * Valid work rights in New Zealand (citizen, resident, or valid work visa) * Able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen * Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail * Own reliable transport What's on Offer: * Opportunities to work with leading companies and respected site managers * Supportive and safety-conscious work environmentsIIf you're a qualified carpenter looking for reliable, full-time work with real long-term potential, we want to hear from you.
