Carpenters are responsible for the full range of carpentry duties and may include but are not limited to: excavation, set-out, concrete, carpentry, roofing, plasterboard fixing, precast panel work and all aspects of residential carpentry. We offer the opportunity to work on a variety of construction projects and to be a valued member of a supportive team. Skills Required * Proven experience as a carpenter * Hands-on working experience in working with carpentry materials * Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction * Proficiency in using electrical and manual equipment. * Ability to read technical documents and drawings * Health & safety conscious * Able to work outdoors at heights, and physically fit (lifting up to 20kgs) * Successful completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is preferred. * A valid driver's licence would be an advantage.
