Carpenter Wanted – (Civil Projects + Variety) Like big jobs? Solid crews? And a bit of everything to keep things interesting? We’re looking for experienced Carpenters to jump into a strong pipeline of civil work, with a mix of residential and commercial projects across New Zealand. So if you’re just as comfortable on formwork and structural jobs as you are on a tidy finish — you’ll fit right in. What’s in it for you? You’ll be part of a crew that gets stuck into proper civil projects — think formwork, concrete prep, structural work — with enough variety to keep things from getting boring. One day you’re on-site with the big gear, the next you’re knocking out clean finishing work. Not a bad way to earn a living. What you’ll be doing: • Civil carpentry – formwork, shuttering, concrete prep & structural work • Residential & commercial jobs to mix it up • 1st, 2nd & final fix (yep, the full run) • Reading plans without needing your hand held • Building, installing & fixing joinery • Framing, cladding, roofing — the works • Shuttering & steel tying • Using tools properly (and safely — we like our crew in one piece) What we’re after: • 3+ years’ experience swinging a hammer (civil experience = big bonus) • Trade qualified or know your stuff well enough to prove it • Own tools & transport (can’t build much without them) • Solid references • Actually shows up (you’d be surprised…) • Takes Health & Safety seriously • Can pass a drug test Why you’ll want this job: • $30–$40/hr depending on your skills • 30+ hours a week — no guessing games • Plenty of civil work locked in • Good mix of projects so you don’t go stale • A team that’s got your back (not just when things go wrong) Sound like you?
