With a strong connection to the local community and a reputation for supporting staff, this is a fantastic opportunity no matter what stage you're at in your career. **What's on Offer** * Contracting rates: $50-$55 per hour * PAYE rates: $38-$44 per hour * Wanaka, Cromwell, Alexandra, Twizel and Queenstown locations available * Temp roles, contracting roles, and opportunities to move into permanent employment * Mixture of residential and commercial work * Work with a respected local builder committed to high-quality projects and team culture **The Work** You'll be involved in a range of carpentry tasks including: * New builds, renovations, fit-outs, and structural work * Mixed residential and commercial projects across Central Otago * Working both independently and as part of a skilled crew * Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site safety **What We're Looking For** Qualified Carpenter (NZ Cert in Carpentry) or experienced chippies * Ability to read plans, use tools safely, and deliver high-quality work * Strong reliability, communication, and team focus * Full driver's licence preferred * Contractors must have their own tools and relevant insurances Email your CV to francesca.miller@hays.net.nz or call 021 229 9160.
