We are seeking an **LBP‑certified Residential Builder** with strong traditional building skills to join a well‑established residential project on **Waiheke Island**. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled tradesperson with extensive timber and wood‑based construction experience to work on quality residential builds, with **accommodation provided on the island or daily ferry travel fully covered**.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Completing residential builds using traditional construction methods
* Working extensively with **timber and wood‑based building systems**
* Delivering high‑quality workmanship across framing, cladding, and interior finishes
* Reading and interpreting plans and specifications accurately
* Ensuring all work complies with NZ Building Code and LBP requirements
* Maintaining a high standard of safety, quality, and site presentation
What You Need:
* **Current LBP certification** (essential)
* Proven residential building experience with a **traditional skillset**
* Strong background in timber / wood‑based construction
* Ability to work independently and take ownership of build outcomes
* Willingness to **live on Waiheke Island (accommodation provided)** or **commute daily with ferry costs covered**
* Full NZ driver licence preferred
