We are looking for a skilled Mobile Crane Operator to join a premier engineering and fabrication powerhouse based in the heart of the Bay of Plenty. The RoleAs our lead operator, you’ll be at the helm of mobile cranes (up to 55T), navigating complex sites and executing critical lifts. Your day-to-day will involve: - Precision Maneuvering: Operating mobile cranes with finesse to support diverse fabrication and onsite projects. - Collaborative Excellence: Building seamless working relationships with clients, riggers, and dogmen to ensure every lift is a success. - Operational Integrity: Maintaining meticulous written records and ensuring your machinery is always in peak condition. - Safety Leadership: Upholding the highest standards of site safety, protecting yourself and the team around you. What You’ll Bring to the CabWe value experience, but we value attitude and potential even more. The Essentials: - A Full, clean Class 4 or Class 5 licence. (Class 5 is preferred, but if you’re currently grinding toward it, we want to support your journey!) - A positive attitude and a rock-solid work ethic. - Strong communication skills—you know how to talk the talk on the radio and on the ground. The 'Nice-to-Haves' (Advantageous): - Experience with mobile cranes up to 55T (though we are happy to provide training for the right candidate). - Forklift licence (preferred). - WTR/F endorsements. - Current certifications in BESS, Site Safe, First Aid, or Working at Heights.
