We have an opportunity for one permanent full-time staff member to work from 5am – 1:30pm Monday – Friday in the Dispatch/Non-Meat Inputs Department of our Papanui-based manufacturing facility. Additional hours are often available, and are paid at time and a half. You will work in a small team to receive, store, pick and dispatch our delicious products to customers all over New Zealand. Our ideal candidates will be naturally curious, keen to gain an understanding of the wider business, and eager to develop “from the ground up”. You will start with us in our Dispatch area, and for the right person, team leadership or management opportunities may arise in due course. To be considered for this role you must: * have a full driver’s licence * be capable of learning new skills and keen to do so * be fit (able to repetitively lift up to 25kg) and energetic with no history of reoccurring injuries * be computer literate * enjoy technical, physical, fast paced work * be reliable, organised, and able to follow detailed guidelines. Experience operating forklifts or reach trucks is preferred but not essential as full training will be given (along with a pay rise each time you master a new activity).
